Introducing our new line of acetate and wood sunglasses.
We have included 3 new designs to our collection that incorporate acetate and wood to create a beautiful, lightweight, and rugged product that is sustainable and fashionable.
What Is Acetate?
Acetate is a cellulosic material, which makes it a close cousin to rayon viscose. That means that it is a semi-synthetic material. The base material is from plants. Natural cotton and wood fibers acquired from different types of plants are the primary raw materials used to make Acetate plastics. Unlike petroleum-based plastics, acetate plastics are environment-friendly since they are made from natural renewable materials that decompose over time.
Where do we source our Acetate?
We source our acetate materials from one the most distinguished acetate producers in the world , Mazzucchelli in Italy.
